Ashes to Ink

Ashes to Ink is a story-heavy 3rd person action game where you play a You, a side character of a storybook that has been transported into the library where his book is held. Unfortunately the library has been overrun by The Librarians, a group of entities who want to see the library's stories (and the characters inside them) reduced to ash. Join You as they get thrust into the role of a hero and fight to make sure You and everyone else gets their happy ending.

Explore A Vast Library

Navigate a library where each section truly is a different world. This prototype contains the Classic Literature level where you fight through fire imps, explore your new environment, experience betrayal, and embark on a new chapter of your life. Throughout your journey, don't forget to collect pages spread throughout the library! Not all of them will be in obvious places.

Experience A Fluid Movement System

Walk, sprint roll, bullet jump, and slide to get through the library. By default, You's sprint is a toggle, meaning you don't have to hold down shift for the duration of your sprint, so you can just focus on gaining momentum. Utilize the bullet jump to get distance out of your jump and the normal jump to scale ginormous ladders.
